Who we are

The Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization that promotes walking and biking, and infrastructure and policy changes that create a safe, accessible, and livable city for all.

BPAC members are local volunteers who engage hundreds of Alexandria residents and seek solutions to safe walking and biking issues on their behalf.

BPAC members actively participate in one or more standing sub-committees and work groups. Our standing subcommittees are as follows:

  • Education – Eldon Boes, Chair
  • Communications – Andrea Kirk and Judith Fogel, Co-Chairs
  • Infrastructure – Ken Notis, Chair
  • Events – Randy Cole, Chair

We welcome and encourage participation in our activities. Please join us in one of our online forums, attend one of our monthly meetings, or contact us here!
