On April 24, BPAC held its first bike rodeo since the start of the pandemic. This bike rodeo, held at Ben Brenman Park, was part of a series of events organized in Alexandria to celebrate Earth Day. About 25 kids participated on a sunny Sunday afternoon, learning important traffic safety lessons and practicing advanced bike-handling skills. Some of the kids enjoyed the bike rodeo so much that they kept looping through the course, intent on doing a little better or going a little faster each time.
