BPAC co-hosts annual holiday lights ride + walk

On December 17-18, BPAC teamed up with the Alexandria SpokesWomen to host the eleventh annual Alexandria holiday lights ride + walk. On our walking and biking tours, we admired the twinkly lights, festive decorations, and amazing creativity of Del Ray’s residents. “Christmas Card Lane” on E. Luray Avenue was a particular hit. We also went by some longtime favorites such as the houses at 409 E. Nelson, 107 Stewart, and 323 E. Oak.

If you couldn’t make the event but would like to walk or bike the routes on your own, the walking route is here, and the biking route is here.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the event, to all of the residents who put up such wonderful holiday decorations, and to all of the people who cheered us on as the groups walked or biked by. And I hope that Santa is especially nice this year to all of the amazing volunteers who led walking or biking groups, made sure everyone stayed safe, took photos, and kept this holiday tradition going strong for another year.
