On Saturday, October 30, BPAC led a group ride to see spooky skeletons, friendly ghosts, haunted playgrounds, and other Halloween decorations in Del Ray. About fifty people — and one intrepid dog in a handlebar seat — did a five-mile loop through the neighborhood, oohing and aahing at the decorations along the way. It was a particular joy to ride with so many kids: kids in trailers, kids on the back of longtail bikes, and kids riding their own bikes. One person also joined us on rollerblades, which may be a first for BPAC rides!
Below are a few photos from the ride, courtesy of Josephine Liu and Chris Watson:
If you’d like to do a self-guided version of the ride, the route is here.
Thank you to the BPAC volunteers who made the ride possible and helped keep everyone safe!
