On October 31, we rode in small, socially distanced groups to admire Del Ray’s Halloween decorations. We saw creepy clowns, Sesame Street characters, skeletons playing ping pong, a skull bubbling away inside an aquarium, inflatable dragons, a witches’ coven, dancing disco skeletons on the No Souls Train, and all kinds of spiders, cobwebs, ghouls, and ghosts. Many of the participants came in costume themselves, including a Cookie Monster, two bees, a banana, a skeleton, and a fly in the vice presidential debate. Our youngest participant was just two years old, riding in a front seat on her mom’s handlebars.
Some photos from the ride are below:
Thank you to everyone who came out for the ride, and a super monster-sized thank you to all the volunteers who made the ride possible.
