Cycling without Age is an organization that brings cycling to people with limited mobility. It started in Denmark as a way to help elderly people get out and about and “feel the wind in their hair.” Cycling without Age uses a rickshaw type bicycle where passengers are seated in front, and a “pilot” pedals and steers from the rear.
Cycling without Age presented at the November BPAC Meeting. They are starting operations in the Washington, D.C. area. You can follow them on their facebook page. Cycling without Age Facebook.
